Principal Dr. Hood's Weekly Letter

Hello Spartan Community

From our entire staff, thank you for the incredible Teacher Appreciation Week. What you do for us is incredible and not taken for granted. We are all grateful and appreciate being appreciated.

We only have two weeks left. One more week of AP testing, and then there are final exams. I want to remind all students about a couple of things so we don't end on a bad note.

  1. Finals need to be taken when scheduled. If you miss the scheduled time, you will need to come back in the summer to make them up.
  2. Students may not carry medication around school (Tylenol, Advil, cough drops, etc.). You will get suspended for having it. If you share them with others, you are distributing, and it is a long suspension.
  3. Take care of your Chromebooks. It is a privilege to have them. If they are abused, that privilege will be taken. If you have more than one Chromebook in your possession, it needs to be returned on Monday.
  4. Do not write inappropriate messages in yearbooks. You can be suspended if the message is deemed harassment or profane. These yearbooks get read by parents and future children. Think about that before you write a message.
  5. You only have a few days left in the school year. Use them wisely.

We look forward to the next few days with you.
