Casey Fraughton, Assistant Principal & Athletic Director

My name is Casey Fraughton. I have worked for over 25 years in education I spent 20 years working in elementary before moving to GCA in the role of Athletic Director and Assistant Principal. I have six of my own kids that have all attended GPS and I love camping, sports, and surfing in my free time! My motto is "Work Hard and Play Hard" and my favorite quote is, "No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care!"

Gilbert Classical Academy is a unique, smaller size 7-12 school that promotes getting involved, challenging yourself, and making a positive impact in life and the community. We are nationally recognized for success in the classroom and continue to build successful performing arts and athletic programs.

What I enjoy most about our school is that you can participate and be an important contributor to any of our sports teams, clubs, and other extracurricular activities. I love witnessing a Jr. High student participate in a sport for the first time and 6 years later, share incredible stories of what participating in that particular sport, club, or class meant to them. Often it has helped them develop lifelong friends, and connections and build an athletic skill that might not have been afforded them at a larger High School.  "
