Gilbert Classical Academy is proud to celebrate 8th grader Keilani Torbert, who was recently recognized by the Governing Board for her 1st-place finish at the 2026 GPS District Spelling Bee.

Out of a competitive field of scholars from across the district, Keilani secured the championship in the 12th round. Her success was rooted in deep linguistic analysis, connecting word roots to mythology and recognizing complex patterns. As the district champion, Keilani led our GPS representatives at the regional competition earlier this year.
