2022-23 GCA had 46 AP Scholars, 31 AP Scholars with Honors, 39 AP Scholars with Distinction, 2 National Merit Finalists, and 9 AP Commended Students.

Neely Traditional Academy and Gilbert Classical Academy (GCA) have been named among the top-ranking schools in the state according to U.S. News & World Report. Neely Traditional Academy was ranked #4 among Arizona's elementary schools, while Gilbert Classical Academy ranked #4 in Arizona's middle schools.

Campo Verde and Gilbert Classical Academy (GCA) earn national recognition for demonstrating academic achievement in Advanced Placement (AP) programs. Each school earned the prestigious AP Honor Roll recognition while GCA earned was also awarded the AP Access Platinum Award for showcasing a commitment to equitable access to advanced coursework.

The Gilbert Days Parade is back for its annual celebration of the Town's heritage but, rather than celebrating the town and district's past, students at Gilbert Classical Academy are decorating the district float to highlight what could be the “Gilbert of the Future.”

Gilbert Classical Academy's Elaine Tang earns a mark among the top 1.27% of over 105,000 applicants as a Semifinalist for the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Scholarship.

The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) has released the 2023-24 School Letter Grades. For the 2023-24 school year Gilbert Public Schools has achieved an ‘A’ letter grade for our school district. Further, all GPS schools have achieved either an ‘A’ or ‘B’ letter grade, rating them as excellent or highly performing by the Arizona Department of Education.
